A common type of washer repair is for loud noises coming from the machine. We knows how to diagnose the cause of the loud noise and determine whether we need to repair or replace the broken appliance parts. The cause of the noise is typically due to a worn-down pump motor or worn bearings or belt.
If your washing machine will not agitate, first check to see if it is unplugged or if a circuit breaker is flipped off. The issue could also be from a broken door latch, thermal fuse or timer. A washing machine that won’t turn on or agitate means the cogs, drive belt, coupler or the transmission need repair or need replacement.
A washing machine that will not spin means there’s an issue with the wax motor, door latch or motor coupling. BRAND will repair these problems quickly and have your washing machine spinning again very soon!
The typical causes for a washing machine overflowing is either the water inlet valve, water level pressure switch or the air dome tube on the washer.
A malfunctioning temperature control switch or inlet hose is typically the reason why a washing machine won’t produce hot or cold water.
A very common dryer malfunction is loud noises coming out of the appliance. Broken bearings, seals or worn-down belts often lead to strange noises from clothes dryers.
A dryer that will not create enough heat to dry clothing won’t be very useful. The source of the problem is either a broken heating element, high limit thermostat or cycling thermostat. These same parts could cause a dryer to be too hot too. Our repairman will inspect the dryer to determine the problem and solution.
When your dryer does not turn on, you first will want to be positive the appliance is not unplugged and all of the circuit breakers are flipped on. If the machine is plugged in and still won’t turn on or tumble, the high-limit thermostat, heating element or cycling thermostat will need to be repaired or replaced.
The exact opposite issue is if the dryer doesn’t shut off. The reason for this particular issue is usually either a broken door switch or timer.
A dryer timer needs to advance in order to complete the cycle. If the timer doesn’t advance, it could mean there’s a broken timer motor or cycling thermostat.
